Contemporary Fit

A well-worn and popular college athletic center is reborn as an inspirational and contemporary hub for community and health.

Enormous interior architectural volumes mandated bold. An updated color palette of berry and citron yellow, grounded by warmer earth tones complimented a graphic carpet design as a way to organize the space and provide wayfinding. Black and white graphic murals cover several key focal walls, setting off the palette of key finishes and furniture elsewhere, while providing strong social branding opportunities. As a final welcoming touch, an ADA accessible check-in desk features a lighted eco-resin box which serves as beacon, pulling guests into the space.
